Nothing is better than enjoying a good movie with your friends or family. Throw some popcorn and snacks in with it and you got yourself a movie marathon! Here are a couple of recent movies that have recently come out in theaters.

Gemini Man:

This first movie is about a 51-year old assassin, Henry Brogan, who wanted to call it quits after his 72nd job, but it all gets turned around when he becomes the target of a mysterious operative. The strange thing was that the man could predict Brogan’s every move. To the horror, Brogan soon acquires that the man who’s trying to kill him is a youthful, speedy, and a cloned version of himself.

This movie is a drama/thriller that is about 2 hours long. It doesn’t have a very good rating, such as it has a 25% rating on rotten tomatoes.

The next movie is about a trio of beautiful and intelligent private investigators who work to unleash all they got to track down a kidnapped billionaire-to-be and keep his top-secret voice-identification software out of the lethal hands. This is a high-octane update on the original ’70s action-comedy TV series.

This movie is a crime/thriller that is about an hour and a half long. Charles Angels have produced a great rating, with a 70% on rotten tomatoes. “It was a great movie, very suspenseful, and left me hanging. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a very action-packed movie.”(Breanna Crawford)

IT 2:

Even though Halloween has just passed this movie is still a great add on. Pennywise was defeated by the Losers’ Club but later returned to terrorize the town of Derry, Maine, once again. The childhood friends, that are now adults, have now all gone their separate ways. But after Mike Hanlon starts noticing people are disappearing, he calls the others home for one final stand. Still damaged by the past, the United Losers’ Club must conquer their greatest fears and defeat Pennywise who is more powerful than ever.

This movie is a thriller/mystery but also rated R, so might be difficult for younger people to watch. But this movie has been doing very well in theaters, with a 80% rotten tomatoes rating. “I enjoyed this movie so much. I cried 8 times and love Richie Tozier!”(Emme Swaim)
