Lady Dogger Volleyball Falls to Sequoyah Eagles

The Lady Dogger Volleyball team fought hard, but they still came up short in the battle against the Sequoyah Eagles.  The Lady Doggers were faced with adversity from the beginning, playing without three of their starters on the court due to injury.  This led to two young players getting their first look at varsity play.  However, this Lady Dogger squad did not give up the fight.  They continued to give their all to the cause, putting up a fight until the very end.  The scoreboard doesn’t reflect the heart these young ladies showed. “The girls have improved since the beginning of the year, and we are making strides to be ready for playoffs at the end of the season,” says coach Troy Ruble. “These girls have way more talent than they give themselves credit for. We have doubled our win total from last season, so we are getting there.”

The Lady Doggers will travel to Caney, where they will take on Caney and Tyro, next Monday, Sept. 9th.  It’s a short drive, so load up and support these ladies!
