Dressing Up and Down in School

Paige Templeton

Why do some people dress nice and then others dress comfortable? I asked a few students why they dress the way they do. I asked a Dewey High School student, Kellie Hinkle why she dressed nice and she said, “I like to look and feel pretty.”  I asked Mady Tate why she dresses comfortable and she said, “I don’t want to be at school.” Dressing nice can benefit a student later in life because when they have a business job, they will already know how to dress nice. Dressing comfortably can benefit students by keeping them from feeling confined or uncomfortable during the school day.  Regardless of how you choose to dress, remember to approach each day with a mindset of success!
